With heavy hearts and happy memories, we say goodbye to Dusty, whose heart was as big as his laughter.
Dusty Blodgett, 43, a resident of Boise, Idaho, passed away on April 18, 2024. Dusty Lee Blodgett was born on November 25, 1980 in Hailey Idaho, the son of Krissi Hansen and Brent Blodgett. He was raised and educated in Fairfield, Idaho.
Dusty was someone to everyone - He was a son that brought endless joy and a few grey hairs. He was a brother to look up to. He was a friend in the good times, the hard times and everything in between. Whether he was listening without judgement, offering a helping hand or cracking a joke to lift your spirits, he was there and he did what he could to help. His quick wit and playful banter could make any situation a good time, leaving us all laughing and with memories that will last forever. Most importantly though, Dusty was a father. He had three beautiful daughters that he raised with his best friend. His greatest joy was spending time with them and watching them grow.
He is survived by: his parents - Krissi and Mark Hansen and Brent Blodgett; three daughters - Aliyah Blodgett, Kaylee Blodgett and Payton Blodgett; three sisters - Kali Blodgett, Connie Hansen and Nikki Stavely; three brothers - Ben Blodgett, Mark Hansen Jr. and Brandon Hansen.
He is preceded in death by: his grandparents - Claude and Dixie Blodgett; grandma - Rosie Pate; aunt - Korri Blodgett; uncle - Michael Blodgett.
Though he may no longer walk among us, Dusty’s spirit will live on in our hearts. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the incredible joy and love he shared with us all.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Camas County Gymnasium in Fairfield.
Rest in peace, Dusty, knowing you are loved beyond measure and will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
