Barbara Ann Tyner

Barbara Ann Tyner, 56, a resident of Paul, Idaho passed away on September 22, 2018 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.

Barbara was born December 20, 1961 in San Pablo, California to Harvey and Tommie Tyner.  Barbara was raised in California with sister, Laquita Diane Tyner and brother, Larry Wayne Tyner.  Barbara traveled and lived in various places with her parents and siblings.

Barbara moved to Idaho with her sister in 2002 and settled in Twin Falls in 2003.  In 2005 Barbara, Laquita Diane and daughter, Tammy was adopted into Melissa Shaw and Johnny Peterson’s family and the adventure began.

Barbara came to live with Melissa and John in 2011 until the time of her passing in September 2018.  Barbara was more than just a friend she was one of Melissa’s kids.  Melissa is so grateful for the opportunity and blessings that came with caring for Barbara.  We will miss her being here with us.

Barbara loved spending time with family and friends.  She loved listening and singing to music and going on road trips and reading almost every sign she saw.  Barbara loved going to watch the kids play basketball, volleyball, football and rodeo.  She also enjoyed going to BBQ’s and sitting by the fire making s’mores.

Barbara is survived by her brother – Larry Wayne Tyner; her daughter – Tammy Scott; son – Jerry Michael Miller, Jr.; son – Robert Michael Miller; ten grandchildren – Johnny Edward Scott III, Kayla Rose Conover, Erica Cooper, Tyson Scott, Ashton Miller, Dustin Kirk, Jessica Kirk, Robert Michael Miller, Jr., Kaitryn Miller and Aiyanna Lee Miller.

She is also survived by her adopted family – Melissa Shaw, Johnny Peterson, Dennis Peterson, Amanda Wanamaker; our kids – Kaylie Jo, Kaden, Keegan, Jaden, Aaron, Shayelyn, Railyn, Katilyn and our newest member, Brandon.

Barbara is welcomed to heaven by her parents – Harvey Carl Tyner and Tommie Opalene Tyner; and her sister – Laquita Diane Tyner.

Cremation services under the care and Direction of Demaray Funeral Service.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 3:00 pm.
