Jamie Alan Holland, 44, born and raised in Gooding, Idaho died June 5, 2018, in Abilene, Texas.
Jamie was born on August 30, 1973 in Gooding, Idaho, the son of Jim (Tina) Holland and Joan (Les) Schultz.
Jamie enjoyed all outdoor activities with his family including dirt bikes, snowmobiles, jeeps, camping and his favorite waterskiing. Jamie was always known for that “big smile” on his face and was willing to help anyone who needed assistance without complaint, especially his brother Dan. He loved cooking. Jamie was quick to bring an extra dish to anything he was invited to-and you were never disappointed. At an early age Jamie found his love for working on hot rod cars, and all his mechanical knowledge, while learning the ropes from his Dad at Jim’s Repair. Jamie loved telling stories of his trips to Hole in Wall in his ’72 Chevy 4WD pickup truck to climb Chalk Hill. The best part was digging out anyone who got stuck! Jamie graduated from Gooding High School in 1991. Shortly after he joined the National Guard where he specialized in mechanics. Jamie loved each one of his four children. He would talk about them to everyone and always wanted them to know just how loved they truly were. Jamie was extremely loved by his brothers Ben and Danny. Jamie always wanted everyone around him to be happy and have a good time. He welcomed everyone with a big heart and wanted each person he encountered to be his friend.
Jamie is survived by his parents: Jim (Tina) Holland of Gooding, Idaho, Joan (Les) Schultz of Eugene Oregon, his three sons: Tyler (Holland) Stephens of Kimberly, Idaho, Jaise Holland of Abilene, Texas, and Jess Holland of Abilene, Texas, his daughter: Hailey Holland of Kimberly, Idaho, his brothers: Benjamin (Katie) Holland of Gooding, Idaho, Daniel Holland of Gooding, Idaho, his nephew Jack Holland and niece Paige Holland.
