Jeff Toone

     Owen Jeffry Toone, 65, of Vale, OR, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding. 

     Jeff was born in Rupert, ID, to James Melvin and Delilah Rose (Tanner) Toone, on April 24, 1953.  He attended school in Carey, ID.  He enjoyed working outside as a dairyman and rancher. Jeff was a hard worker that shared and taught this talent well.   He was avid hiker who loved being in the mountains. He especially loved reading and talking about the scriptures.  Jeff was friendly to all he encountered and especially loved to laugh.  He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who loved him. 

     He is survived by: his wife, Melanie; his two daughters, Melanie (Justin) and Amy (Layne); and his eight grandchildren.

     He was preceded in death by his father, James Melvin Toone.

     Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2018, at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 26 N Tiger Drive in Jerome, ID.
