Jimmy Lewis Hall

     Jimmy Hall, 84, a resident of Twin Falls and formerly of Gooding, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Bridgeview Independent Living in Twin Falls.

     James “Jimmy” Lewis Hall was born on October 21, 1934 in Golden City, Missouri, the son of Albert and Rena (Jones) Hall.

     When he was one year old the family moved to Gooding, Idaho during the depression looking for work.

     Jim graduated from Gooding High School in 1952.  He played football, basketball and excelled in track and was on the Gooding Medley team that went to state his senior year.

     Jim served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958.  He then joined the National Guard and served 20 years and retired as a Master Sergeant.

     Jim worked for B.L.M. for a few years and then worked for the Idaho Transportation Department and retired in 1995.

     Jim was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, camping and riding his ATV with family and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents – Albert and Rena Hall; his wife – Mary Ellen; and his son – Kirk.

     He is survived by: his sons – Brady Hall of Twin Falls, Craig Hall of San Antonio, Texas and Scott Hall of Twin Falls; his grandsons – Zachary Hall, Quinn Hall, Joshua Hall and Scotty Hall, Jr. all of Twin Falls; his daughter-in-law – Rosemary York also of Twin Falls; and his brothers – Max (Susan) Hall and Dennis (Ann) Hall, all of Gooding.

     A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding.  Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
