John LeRoy Fisher

John LeRoy Fisher, 72, a resident of Buhl and formerly of Gooding, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.

John was born on May 17, 1946 in Webster City, Iowa, the son of Guy and Jennie Fisher.  He was raised and educated in Webster City and later moved to Idaho after graduating from high school.

John is survived by: one son, Tad L. (Terri) Fisher of Buhl; one daughter, Trisha L. (Roger) Twitchell of Wendell; two brothers, “Billy Bo Jack” – Bob (Alice) Fisher of Hermosa, South Dakota and Leland (Sharon) Fisher of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Charlotte (Dan) Carrico of Twin Falls and Virginia (Gene) Hassebrock of Webster City, Iowa; four grandchildren, Brittney (Cole Davis) Twitchell, Dillon (Nadine) Twitchell, Amanda (Jeremy) Mulgrew and Katie (Kurt Young Jr.) Fisher; five great grandchildren, Jason, Mason, Seager, Madelyn and Brennan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Larry; and his sister, Arlene.

A celebration of life for John will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the West Park in Gooding.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
