Kevin M. Stratton

     Kevin M. Stratton, 61, a resident of Gooding, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at his home in Gooding.

     Kevin was born on December 19, 1957 in Quincy, California, the son of Trevor and Margo Stratton.  He was raised on a ranch in Quincy/Meadow Valley, California with three older brothers and a younger sister.

     Kevin came to Idaho in the early 1980’s as he always said – “on a Grey Hound Bus with a duffle bag of clothes.”  Kevin came to Idaho to help his dad, Trevor, ranch in north Shoshone.

     Kevin married Christine “Christy” K. Clark on October 9, 1982.  She was an amazing woman who made Kevin the man he was.  They were blessed with a daughter, Tifini Stratton and raised her in Gooding until Christy passed away in 2005.

     Kevin got lucky a second time and married another wonderful lady, Robin Condie Bryan on April 14, 2007.  He was blessed with two step-children, Wyatt Bryan and Megan Bryan.

     Kevin never knew a stranger; he would talk with everyone.

     Kevin was the most loving husband, fantastic father, devoted son and a great friend.  He will be missed by all.

     He was preceded in death by his wife – Christy Stratton; and two brothers – David Stratton and Roger Stratton, both of Chico, California.

     Kevin is survived by: his wife – Robin Stratton of Gooding; his daughter – Tifini Stratton of Twin Falls; daughter – Megan Bryan and son – Wyatt Bryan, both of Gooding; his father – Trevor (Barb) Stratton of Gooding; his mother – Margo Stratton of Quincy, California; brother – Shaun Stratton of Chico, California; sister – Tari Truman of Grass Valley, California; sister – Marlene (Howard) Shield of Boise; sister - Denise (Ty) Morrison of Boise; and two nephews – Jerek and Keith.

     A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Gooding Basque Center – 285 Euskaldi Lane in Gooding.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel.
