Millie A. (Heitz) Sprenger

Millie Heitz Nusse Sprenger, 101 of Wendell, Idaho died Friday June 8, 2018 in a Twin Falls Care Center. 

Millie was born May 9, 1917 to William and Bertha (Giger) Heitz of Lenora, Kansas.  She was raised and educated in Lenora.  On June 27, 1939 she married Edward Nusse.  They moved to Denver, Colorado.

When World War II came about she went to work at Remington Arms Company in Denver packing tracer powder in bullets and was also as a bullet inspector.  She also worked at Wright and McGill for 27 years where she snelled fish hooks.

In 1974 they moved to Wendell, Idaho.  Edward passed away later that same year.

In 1978 she married Wayne Sprenger, he passed away in 1989.

Millie is preceded in death by her parents, step mother, Fannie Heitz, her husbands, Edward Nusse and Wayne Sprenger.  Five brothers, Bill, Clarence, Elmer, Kenneth and Eldon Heitz.  Two sisters, Gladys Ritter and Pauline Steelsmith and a step son, Doug Sprenger.

Millie is survived by her family, Elden Heitz and family, Linda Miller and Family, Cheryl Sprenger, Todd Sprenger and family, Dick and Ron Heitz and Carol Steelsmith.

 Funeral services will be held at the 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Demaray Funeral Service – Wendell Chapel.  A viewing will be held from 9:00 until 9:50 at the Wendell Chapel. Burial will follow at Wendell Cemetery, Wendell, Idaho
