Noreen Faye Schmidt, 69, a resident of Twin Falls, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her home in Twin Falls.
Noreen was born on March 28, 1949 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, the daughter of Vester Ellis Henslee and Myrna Lucille Parker. She was raised and educated in Wendell, Idaho.
She married Richard Harold Hanson on June 13, 1966 in Boise, Idaho. Richard passed away on November 9, 1971.
Noreen then married Gilbert Schmidt on September 3, 1973 in Gooding, Idaho. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden temple on November 16,1974.
She is survived by: her husband, Gilbert Schmidt of Twin Falls; son, Richard Harold Hanson, Jr. of Garland, Utah and step-son, Keith Schmidt of Puyallup, Washington; three daughters, Robin Schmidt-Pool and Karla Worthington, both of Twin Falls, Janet Schmidt of Culver City, California and step-daughter, Vickie Henman of Minerva, Ohio; three brothers, Neal Henslee of Palmer, Alaska, William “Win” Henslee and Gilbert Ray Henslee, both of Wendell; one sister, Jeanie Hansen of Winter Haven, Florida; her grandchildren, Chad Rogers, Kelsie Rogers, Mallory Solis, Tyler Worthington, Avery Woodling, Olive White, Lilla White, Keegan Henman, Landon Henman, Paige Henman, Dayna Schmidt, Ethan Schmidt and Avalyn Schmidt; and one great grandchild, Ayden Huerta.
She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Kerri Rogers; her parents, Vester and Myrna Henslee; and brother, Wesley Henslee.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 16 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Demaray Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gooding. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at the church.
Interment will take place at the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding.
