Sara L. (Mathews) Castle

Our loving mother Sara L. Castle passed away peacefully July 6, 2018.

She was born in Sun Valley, ID on October 29, 1968 to Raymond Castle and Rose Mathews. She had five siblings, Phillip Castle, Jason Castle, Rick Mathews, Billy Mathews, and Michelle Garcia.

She attended school in Hailey ID up until she moved to Gooding ID where she attended her senior year of high school. Shortly after she had met Allen Cheney and had her oldest son Tanner Blair Cheney. She later than met Barry Verhoeven in 1987 and in 1992 had twins Lacy and Levi Verhoeven. Sara loved her kids more than any as well as her grand kids, she adored each and every one of them. Throughout Sara's life she was very opinionated and determined when it came to everyday struggles. Sara always thought of others and would put them first before herself, this was the natural character of her personality. She was very loved and appreciated and will be missed dearly.

Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday July 14th at the New Life Community Church in Wendell ID, inurnment will follow at Wendell Cemetery and a brunch immediately after at the church.

Donations for her memorial service are being accepted at Farmers Bank.
