Thomas E. Smith, 79, a resident of Gooding, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Boise.
Thomas was born on June 11, 1940 in Hominy, Oklahoma, the son of Robert E. Smith and Dorothy Lee Bowers. He was raised and educated in Lynwood, California.
He married Cora F. Pierce on April 6, 1968 in Lynwood, California.
Thomas is survived by: his wife – Cora E. Smith of Gooding; two sons – Jared E. Smith of Gooding and Ethan R. Smith of Orange, California; two brothers – Richard Smith and Donald Lee Smith, both of Davis, California; and one grandchild – Amber E. Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother – Donald Lee Smith.
No public funeral services will be held. A private family gathering will be held on a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
