Adel Devine

     Adel May Devine, age 85, a resident of Shoshone, passed away peacefully December 14, 2023.

     She was born June 26, 1938 in Alton Kansas to Lincoln and Maud Stanfield.  There were 16 siblings in the family with Adel and her twin sister, Ada, being the youngest. Adel was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Robert Devine, in 2019.

     Adel moved from Kansas to Idaho in 1972 where she fell in love with the outdoors. She was married to O'Neil Richins until his death in 1997. She was an accomplished trap shooter and loved to spend time with family and friends while camping, fishing, hunting, golfing, traveling and ATV riding. Not many who met her forgot her.

     Adel is survived by twin sister and best friend Ada, sons Kevin and Gordon (Chelsea) and grandchildren Justin, Matt, Sarah, Shelby and Oakley as well as Bob's daughter Joy and grandchildren Lisa (Larry), Dena, Linda, Cyndi, Gene and Mark.

     The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of DeSano Place for their excellent care in the years following Adel's stroke.

     At Adel's request there will be no formal services.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Shoshone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the
