Annamarie Jimenez Obituary

Annamarie Jimenez 62, a resident of Jerome, ID passed away on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was such a strong independent hard-working, loving lady. There are so many families and friends that cherished her and looked up to her. She fought a long hard battle with her cancer. She never let anything get her down. She always had such high spirits.

Annamarie was born on March 1, 1959 in San Jose, California, the daughter of Mary Lewis Tapia and Pascasio Jimenez. She had three brothers (Ricky, Moe, Leonard) and three sisters (Ebbie, Connie, Brenda). She had lots of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She lived in San Jose, California until she moved to Jerome, and that is where she laid down her roots to raise her family.

Annamarie started a job working at Spears shortly after moving to Jerome with her family. She worked Swing shift making various parts at Spears as a lead for about 29 years. She took her job at spears serious, she always made sure the machines were running right and that things were getting done the right way. She made some lifelong friends working there.

Annamarie was one who always had her door open for anyone when they needed a place to stay, she always had food to offer to you. She could carry on a conversation with you for hours and hours. She would make you feel a sense of security and calmness when you were in the presences of her home. When it came to her children and grandchildren, she always put them first. She loved being anywhere that they would be, whether it be fishing, swimming, BBQ, anywhere family was she wanted to be. She loved buying funny beanies she could wear. One of her favorite holidays was Halloween, she absolutely loved dressing up all scary.

Annamarie was survived by: her sons - Miguel (Angelina) Cruz and Pablo (Jenna) Cruz of Jerome; her daughters – Michelle Cruz of Jerome and Stephine Quinonez of California. She has 16 grandchildren and she also has greatgrandchildren as well and many others who called her mom.

Annamarie was preceded in death by: her son - Steven (Wimpy) Quinonez; her father - Pascasio Jimenez; her nephew - Pascasio (Indio) Jimenez. She is also greeted by many family members that have passed before her.

They say there is a reason, they say that time will heal, but neither time nor reason, Will change the way we feel. For no-one knows the heartache, that lies behind our smile. No-one knows how many times we have broken down and cried. Gone from home that smiling face, those cheerful, happy ways, the heart that won so many friends, In bygone, happy days. We want to tell you something, so there will not be any doubt, you are so wonderful to think of, but so hard to be without. We cannot bring the old days back, when we are all together, the family chain is broken now, but memories live forever.

WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND WILL MISS YOU DEARLY LADY!
