Bill Moon Obituary

Bill Moon, 84, a resident of Shoshone, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.

Bill was born on November 11, 1934 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, the son of Joseph and Cora Moon.  He was raised and educated in Clifty, Arkansas.

He married Sandra Schwager on August 20, 1959 in Shoshone, Idaho at the Methodist Church.

Dad was a hard-working man.  He would give the shirt off his back.  He was a self-taught mechanic, welder and jack of all trades.  He was a loving man, a second father to Brent, and a wealth of information to Shawn and Matt.   Dad used to play the guitar and sing to us girls when we were little.

This year would have been mom and dad’s 60th Anniversary.  He was surrounded by his family when he passed.  We’re happy he’s in Heaven feeling no more pain.  We love you!

Bill is survived by: his wife – Sandra of Shoshone; two daughters – Crystal (Gary) Beerly and Melody Higley, all of Gooding; two sisters – Coleen and Dot; three grandchildren – Brent Higley, Matt Higley and Shawn Beerly; and great grandchildren – Tony, Trinity, Whinter, Addie and Mason.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; other siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
