Celia Fajardo Perez

     Celia Fajardo Perez, 78, a resident of Jerome, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.

     Celia was born on April 25, 1942 in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, the daughter of Tomas Fajardo and Vicenta Marron. 

     She was raised and educated in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico and San Luis Colorado, Mexico. 

     Celia married Jamie Perez on October 16, 1965 in San Luis, Mexico.  They moved to Idaho in 1972.

     She is survived by: her husband, Jamie Perez of Jerome; her son, Jesse (Jan) Perez of Hagerman; three daughters, Elizabeth (Randy) Byrne of Boise, Celia Perez of Jerome and Cindy (Pablo Trujillo) Zacarias of Wendell; five brothers, Gabriel, Herman, Victor, Fedirico and Humberto; three sisters, Ester, Marta and Nora; eight grandchildren, Alecia, Jaime, Devon, Hunter, Giovani, Damien, Jorden and Leilani; and two great grandchildren, Sawyer and Reagan.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a granddaughter, Adamarie.

     A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Demaray Funeral Service - Wendell Chapel.

     The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 11:00 am at Demaray Funeral Service - Wendell Chapel.

     Burial will follow at the Wendell Cemetery in Wendell.
