Chuck Cram ~ Celebration of Life Livestream
Charles "Chuck" Scott Cram, 62, a resident of Gooding, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at his home in Gooding.
Charles Scott Cram was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 6, 1963. He was the youngest of three. He grew up in a small community surrounded by a lot of family. When Chuck was 10 years old his family followed their friends the Olson family (Brian), “Out West” so the kids could all go to Northwest Christian School in Spokane, WA. He stayed at NWC until he graduated with THE CLASS of 1981.
Four years later Chuck went to Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland where he met Beth Buster. They were married after graduation in 1988. Chuck started working for Costco the day before he met Beth (1985). He transferred to help open a new Costco in Missoula Montana (1990), where Jacob was born (spring 1992). After finding out that Jacob was deaf in the spring of 1994, Chuck transferred to the Costco in Freemont California to follow deaf services for his deaf toddler. That fall, Micah (also deaf), was born. Joel (the only hearing son) was born (summer 1998).
Chuck transferred to Costco in Twin Falls, Idaho (Christmas 1999) so that his two deaf sons could attend the Deaf school in Gooding. Chuck continued to work for Costco until he retired (spring 2016). Chuck loved his new freedom to be able to work with his buddy Duane, doing what he loved, working with his hands and starting out their day with prayer and “Bows N’ Joe”.
Later, Chuck joined North Canyon Medical Center’s maintenance team in Gooding, Idaho. As usual, Chuck “warmed” his way into the hearts of coworkers with his love for maintenance, quick wit, and his contagious personality.
In the fall of 2023, Chuck fell while hunting. The injury masked a later diagnosis of ALS on March 5, 2024. The next day, Chuck and Joel left for Chuck’s final POWER Ministry trip. In the months that followed, Chuck continued to pray and support POWER and other ministries, which helped keep him in a positive frame of mind as he battled this unforgiving and devastating disease. Chuck continued to fight with the hope that a miraculous healing from ALS would bring others to faith in his Lord. A faith, he described as “his 11:59 God”.
Chuck wanted to stay at home with his loved ones. This arrangement allowed the family and his personal care team to stay by his side night and day. His boys, Micah and Joel, faithfully served their dad and mom to the very end. Chuck died peacefully at home, Sunday, December 7, 2025 with his loving wife by his side, holding his hand as he entered heaven.
Loving family members who were already in heaven to welcome him home, included his parents, Chet and Glenna Cram, his Grandpa and Grandma Cram, and his Grandpa and Grandma Elliot.
Loving family members celebrating his new freedom in heaven, include his wife, Beth, sons, Jacob, Micah (Deejjo), and Joel (Karisma), grandkids, Lilly, Jordan, Bella, and Rose, his siblings, Denese (Garvin), and Mark (Maycee). Brothers in Law, Jack (Bev), Tom (Kellie) and Carl Jr. (Jana).
A Celebration of Life will be held at Living Waters Presbyterian Church in Wendell, ID at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
