Christopher Mark Bentzinger, 14, of Gooding, passed away at home on February 16, 2026.
Christopher was born on April 14, 2011, in Fairfield, Idaho, to Clay and Michelle Bentzinger. He was raised and educated in Fairfield and Gooding, Idaho. He was the youngest of the siblings of Lilliona and Julliona Bentzinger.
Christopher loved playing and coaching baseball in the community. He also enjoyed playing music both at home and in school. He participated in the pep band and concert band, playing the saxophone, piano, and guitar, really anything he could get a hold of. He also loved motorized power sports, especially snowmobiling.
Christopher was a devoted Christian who loved attending youth group and participating in Bible studies with his best friend, Ryver. He was preceded in heaven by his grandfathers and his best friend, Ryver Milloy.
He is survived by his mother, Michelle; his three sisters, Lilliona and Julliona Bentzinger, and Mya Rumple; and his father, Clay (Heather Day) Bentzinger.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on February 27, 2026, at 5th Avenue Church in Gooding, Idaho.
