Christopher "Chris" John Tucker

     Christopher “Chris” John Tucker, 57, a resident of Fountain Hills, Arizona, and formerly of Gooding, Idaho, passed away far to suddenly on October 22, 2024.

     Chris was born on January 26, 1967 in Gooding, Idaho, the son of Terry Tucker, Sr. and Georgia (Sommerville) Tucker.

     Chris attended Gooding High School where he was active in F.F.A. before moving on to Keizer, Oregon.  He attended and graduated from Hellsgate High School in Missoula, Montana.  Later attending the Phoenix Institute of Technology.

     Chris married Barbara Ankeny (Seaman) on November 29, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

     Chris and Barb lived in Boise until 2016 when they moved to the Phoenix area and enjoyed their outdoor time in Payson, Arizona.

     He is survived by: his wife – Barb Tucker of Fountain Hill, Arizona; his stepson – Zachary Seaman of Fountain Hills, Arizona; his stepdaughter – Keyleigh Seaman of Nampa, Idaho; his brother – Terry (Cindy) Tucker, Jr. of Garden Valley, Idaho; his sister – Shannon Tucker of Nampa, Idaho; his father – Terry Tucker, Sr. of Boise, Idaho; his niece – Taunia Tucker; and great nieces – Lilly Bull and Faith Tucker.

     He was preceded in death by: his grandmothers – Genevieve Tucker and Maude Weber; his grandfathers – Orwell Tucker and George Sommerville; his mother – Georgia Louise Sommerville passed away on February 7, 2025, shortly after Chris passed away.

     A celebration of life for Chris will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding.

     Local arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
