Cleo A. Shoup
     Cleo A. Shoup, 80, a resident of Gooding, died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding, due to an extended illness.  
     Cleo was born in Bushong, Kansas on September 11, 1930, the youngest son of Harry and Maude Shoup.  At age nine Cleo moved to Gooding with his family.  
     Cleo met the love of his life, Bernice Allred in April to which they were soon wed on August 1, 1953.  They spent fifty-seven wonderful years in Gooding raising their family.    
     Cleo served in the Army during the Korean War.  His jobs throughout his life consisted of his love of farming in Fairfield with his dad, for numerous years on the Packham and Moline farms, truck driving for Fields Truck Line and working at the courthouse in Gooding until his retirement.
     He is survived by: his wife, Bernice Shoup; three daughters, Nancy Allen of Gooding, Della Andersen and Julie Rodabaugh of Twin Falls; brother, Roy Shoup of Gooding; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
     He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
     Friends and family may visit from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Demaray Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel.
      Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Demaray Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding.
