Mary Darlene McLeod, 83, a resident of Gooding, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 at Bennett Hills Care Center, in Gooding, Idaho.

Mary Darlene Mink was born May 2, 1942 in Gooding, Idaho to Violet and Cline Mink. She was raised and educated in Gooding. She enjoyed riding horses, fishing, camping, and loving family trips.

She married Lloyd McLeod on June 10, 1961 in Gooding. Darlene enjoyed raising their children, had an in-home daycare, and later she worked at Gooding Rehab starting as a Therapy Tech, then a CNA and later Housekeeping.

Darlene is survived by her sons - Lloyd C. (Margie) McLeod and Aaron J. McLeod both of Gooding; daughters - Karen (Ed) Rosa of Jerome, and Karlene (Leo) Gill of Buhl; brothers - LeRoy Mink of Bruneau and Larry Mink of Twin Falls; and her sister - Rhonda Dockstader of Twin Falls.

She is preceded in death by her parents - Violet and Cline Mink; and her sister - Linda Burkenhagen.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Demaray’s Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel.

A private family burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding, Idaho.
