February 18, 1943 ~ January 29, 2026 (age 82) 82 Years Old

Daryl Hilt Obituary

     Daryl Alan Hilt, 82, a resident of Twin Falls and formerly of Gooding, passed away on January 29, 2026 at Grace Assisted Living in Twin Falls.

     Daryl was born on February 18, 1943 in Long Beach, California, the son of Arie and Gracia Hilt.

     He was raised and educated in Artesia, California.

     Daryl married Elaine Davies Nicholas on March 21, 1964 in Paramount, California at Emmanuel Reformed Church.

     He enjoyed elk and deer hunting, fishing, singing in the church choir and driving truck, as well as all the friends that came along with those activities.

     Daryl loved his Lord and treasured his family – including the love of his life for 61 years – Elaine Nicholas Hilt of Twin Falls; three sons – Charles Hilt of Gooding, Richard Hilt of Buhl and David Hilt of Gooding; one daughter – Arlene Liebe of Twin Falls; two sisters – Mary Lou Hilt of Long Beach, California and Shareen Blundell of Potter Valley, California; seven grandchildren – Kiersten, Jed, Korah, Justin, Jonathan, Daryl and James; and four great grandchildren – Emma, Harmony, Ezra and Esther.

     He was preceded in death by his brother – Cecil Hilt.

     A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Living Waters Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Wendell.

     A private family graveside will take place at the Hagerman Cemetery in Hagerman.
