Diana Lu (Sparks) Decker

     Diana Lu Decker, 68, a resident of Shoshone passed away April 18, 2025 in her home.

     Diana was born December 5, 1956 to Louis Von and Patricia Ann Sparks in Ely, Nevada. She spent her childhood raised and educated in Carey, Idaho.

     On November 23, 1992 she married Gerald Reed Decker in Carey.

     Diana Decker was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, gardening, homesteading, and painting. She was the best listener and could let you gab for hours. She has happily served as an active member of the L.D.S. Church for most of her adult life.

     Diana is survived by: her sons - Nathan Royal, Jeremy Royal, Devon Campbell, Matthew Decker; her two daughters - Laura Furgason, and Grace Rasmussen; her brother - Hoby Sparks; and her 10 grandchildren - Arianna Royal, Sariah Royal, Lily Royal, Gabriel Royal, Jack Royal, Sam Royal, Elliot Royal, Zander Rasmussen, Zoey Rasmussen, Lily Furgason; and her great granddaughter - Alicia Cisneros.

     Diana is preceded in death by: her parents - Louis and Patricia Sparks; brother - Rory Sparks; and her husband - Gerald Decker.

     A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on April 24, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints in Shoshone. A burial will follow at Shoshone Cemetery.

     Funeral services are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Shoshone Chapel.
