Don Ray Clemmons, 72, also known as “Grumpy” to all who knew and loved him, was born in Pampa, Texas on May 29, 1947 and passed away at his home in Bliss, Idaho on September 1, 2019.

Don spent his adolescent years in California, where he later joined the military. Don spent the majority of adulthood in Idaho. He is remembered for his many years of work and dedication to the City of Bliss, where he worked with the Bliss Fire Department, QRU, and City Council. Don was the Fire Chief of Bliss when he retired.

Don spent many memorable trips with his family in the mountains and desert. He was known for his passion for hunting, arrowheads, and barbequing. There was never a dull moment with Don around.

Don and his family would like to thank the LVAD team at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, the medical team at North Canyon Hospital in Gooding, Dr. James Irwin, and Idaho Home Health  and Hospice.
