Donald Pare Cresswell, 49, a resident of Shoshone, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Twin Falls.
Donnie was born on June 10, 1969 in Pocatello, Idaho, the son of Donald and Charlotte Cresswell.
He was raised and educated in Pocatello and attended Idaho State University. Donnie graduated with a Doctor of Arts in Mathematics in 1998.
In his youth, Donnie loved skiing, hiking and camping in the Grand Tetons. As an adult, Donnie loved his challenging job, traveling to new places, and spending time with his friends and family. He and his son loved playing Fantasy Football together. (Go Pac!) He was loved by all who knew him and will forever be in our hearts.
Donnie married Lisa Truitt on June 25, 1994 in Pocatello, later making their home in Shoshone. He worked for Power Engineers in Hailey for 20 years.
He is survived by: his wife, Lisa Truitt Cresswell, his son, Donald Ryan Cresswell and his daughter, Hannah Rose Cresswell, all of Shoshone; his parents, Donald and Charlotte Cresswell of Pocatello; and his brother, Ron Cresswell of Twin Falls.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry and Hazel Pare; his paternal grandparents, Donald and Edith Cresswell.
A celebration of life for Donald will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Cresswell home at 188 East 552 North in Shoshone.
A memorial service in Pocatello will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Pocatello. Inurnment will take place in the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello.
Memorial contributions may be made in Donald’s name to the American Cancer Society.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Shoshone Chapel.
