Donald C Reed

 Donald C "Don" Reed, passed away on November 29, 2025, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls, ID, surrounded by his family. 

 Don was born on December 22, 1930, to Frank Alexander and Hulda Clark Reed at their home in Eagle, ID.

 Don received his education in Boise, ID and started his career as a groceryman with Albertsons Food Center in Boise in 1945. In 1953 he was transferred to Wendell, Idaho, to operate a store for Albertsons and it was there that he met Joan Logan, who became his wife later that year. After leaving Albertsons, Don and Joan owned and operated grocery stores in the Burley-Rupert area for many years. After his retirement, they moved to Hagerman, Idaho, spending their summers there and their winters in Arizona.

 Don is survived by his wife Joan of 72 wonderful years; his children - Donna (Daniel) Jensen of Ninilchik, AK and Bill (Merri) Reed of Burley, ID; six grandchildren Don (Susan) Hirsch of Burley, ID, Felicia (Rob) Hirsch-Howard of Ninilchik, AK, James (Nicole) Hirsch of Nampa, ID, and Krisi (Steve) Bunn of Twin Falls, ID, Kristy (Jim) Guthrie of Kuna, ID and Corey Reed of Burley, ID; nine great grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Don is preceded in death by his parents; twin brother - Ronald; brothers - Dick and Phillip; and his sister - Bonnie.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Wendell Cemetery in Wendell.

A viewing will be held on Friday from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at Demaray Funeral Service - Wendell Chapel
