Obituary
Esteban “Steve” Lara, 42, a resident of Wendell, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.
Esteban Lara was born on January 7, 1980 in Guadalupe Victoria, Mexico, the son of Javier Lara and Gloria Gonzalez.
Steve was raised and educated in Wendell, Idaho, where he graduated from Wendell High School. He later attended C.S.I where he obtained his certification in Welding.
Steve is survived by: his mother – Gloria Gonzalez of Shoshone; his son – Tavion Esteban Lara of Buhl; his daughter – Gianna Mari Lara of Buhl; two brothers – Francisco “Frank” Lara of Twin Falls and Ricardo “Ricky” Lara of Guadalupe Victoria, Mexico; and two sisters – Lynette Garcia and Lucia Garcia, both of Shoshone.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Demaray Funeral Service – Wendell Chapel.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Wendell.
Burial will follow at the Wendell Cemetery in Wendell.
