Evan Asahel Gridley

     Evan Asahel Gridley, 71, of Hagerman, passed away at his home on November 19, 2025.

     Born on February 16, 1954 to Asahel W. and Aleita L. Gridley, he grew up on the family farm and worked on local ranches.

     Evan served as a deputy and jailor with the Gooding County Sheriff’s Department, was curator of the Gooding County Cemetery, and enjoyed horses, roping, hunting, and collecting guns.

     He is survived by son - Clint Gridley, son - Frank May; grandchildren - Taylor, Dillon, Madalynn, and Bryson, and sister Anita Falen.

     Preceded in death by his parents, brother - Gary, grandparents, and Anita’s husband - Roger Falen.

     Memorial service and picnic will be held in the spring 2026 in Hagerman.

     Donations may be made to a favorite charity or the Hagerman Historical Society.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
