Fisher Jacob Devon Barnes

     Fisher Jacob Devon Barnes, born on March 22, 2008, in Twin Falls, Idaho, left this world far too soon on April 24, 2025, leaving us so young.

     Fisher was the beloved son of Jacob Michael Barnes and Lacee Elaine Rasmussen. With a happy-go-lucky and free-spirited nature, Fisher was known for his humor and zest for life, always bringing smiles to those around him.

     Fisher had a deep love for the outdoors, often found exploring the desert, collecting rocks, and hunting and fishing. His passion for antiques led him to discover treasures in thrift stores, which he found endlessly fascinating. Fisher also cherished his extensive Pokémon collection, especially his favorite Pikachu card, which brought him great joy and excitement.

     Fisher deeply valued spending time with his mom, dad, grandparents, and treasured the moments shared with his brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and the many aunts, uncles, and cousins who brought warmth and laughter into his life. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and his beloved dog, Tabitha. Family and friends will forever remember Fisher for his expectation of seeing a bird take flight in every picture, a testament to his unique way of viewing the world. Although his time with us was short, Fisher’s life was filled with vibrant experiences and the love of those around him, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he met. Fisher will always be deeply missed and never forgotten by those who knew and loved him.

    Fisher is survived by: his parents – Lacee Rasmussen and Jacob Barnes; his brother – Hunter Michael (Lucieli) Barnes and nephew - Trapper Michael Barnes; and his sister – Amber Line.

     He was preceded in death by an older brother – Trapper; Great Grandma and Grandpa Barnes; and Uncle Daniel Young.

     A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 10:30 am at Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.

     A viewing will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the chapel.

     Cremation arrangements will follow under the direction of Demaray Funeral Service.
