Francis Fay Fuqua, 75, a resident of Shoshone, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at his home in Shoshone.
Francis Fay Fuqua, was born November 30, 1946 in Fairbury, Nebraska. Frank was tough around the edges but with a heart of gold. He loved music from his youth, from Renegades to Just Us Five, and dances at VFW.
Frank was a Sargent in the United States Marine Corp. He served his country proudly.
Frank was a section foreman for the Union Pacific Railroad. He had bowlegs and railroad spikes to prove it. Frank loved to fish and hunt. There was nothing better than catching and releasing a sturgeon bigger than your couch on the snake. He loved racing cars and anything that had power he embraced.
He is preceded in death by his mother - Pearl Fuqua; his father - Charles Fuqua; his sister - Sandy Williams.
He is survived by his wife - Lue; his brother - Brad Fuqua; his sister - Brenda Rice; his daughter - Tami Fuqua.
There will be a celebration of life announced at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service - Shoshone Chapel.
