Musings, By Jim Davis
Married the love of my life, Pauline, September 2, 1951.
Celebrated fifty great years of marriage, September 2, 2001.
Stood in an empty tomb in Jerusalem and thanked God for the Resurrection!
Marveled at the beauty of a western sunset.
Wept when seeing the ocean for the first time.
Looked toward heaven on a clear star-spangled night and was overwhelmed at how great
God is and how small I am.
Thanked God for all the thigs that didn’t happen to me.
At midnight, swam in the pool of Aggie Grey’s on Western Samoa with my friend, Linfield Crowder.
Ate the biggest and best lobster tail ever with Ray and Becky Sparre on the island of Ponape.
Have only three regrets in my lifetime
1. All the dumb things I ever thought.
2. All the dumb things I ever said.
3. All the dumb things I ever did!
Besides those I can’t think of anything else.
