     James “Jim” F. Vincent, 86, a resident of Gooding, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home in Gooding.

     James was born on September 3, 1935 in Anaheim, California, the son of Harley C. and Margaret E. (Herther) Vincent.

     He was raised and educated in Anaheim. (Joining the Navy at 17. He retired from the Navy, having served 20 yrs.)

     Jim married the love of his life - Loretta Breeden on September 6, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

     He is survived by: his wife – Loretta Vincent of Gooding; sons – Jory (Julie) Vincent and Jerry (Veronika) Vincent, both of San Antonio, Texas, Dustin (Amber) Vincent of Gooding, Idaho and Dustin (Kristina )Hanks of Salt Lake City, Utah; four daughters – Beverly (Willy) Leggett of Saint Robert, Missouri, Spring Thunder Hawk of West Virginia, Nicole Vincent and  Angela (Nash) Giravi of Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters – Janet Waters of Garden Grove, California and Madeline Conliffe of Boise; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     Jim had many hobbies, he loved to golf, he was Mr. Fixit and he loved a strong cup of coffee and good conversations with friends and family.

     Jim was most proud of his beautiful family.

     He was preceded in death by: his father – Harley; his mother – Margaret; brother – Harley; sisters – Joy, Kathy and Helen.

     A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Calvary Chapel in Hagerman.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
