Jeannine (Cossette) Rousseau

Jeannine (Cossette) Rousseau, widow of Fernand J. Rousseau, passed away on Tuesday December 2, 2025.  She was 91 years old.

She was born in Saint-Narcisse, Quebec, Canada on January 17, 1934, daughter of the late Lorenzo and Marie (Dupont) Cossette.  Jeannine was a longtime resident of Naugatuck and worked at Uniroyal for 15 years in the Stitching Department.

 She leaves her family to cherish her memory including her son Paul Rousseau, daughter-in-law Jessica Dydyn of Middletown, CT and her loving daughter Annette Rousseau, son-in-law John Luongo of Gooding, ID; her grandchildren Jonathan Rousseau and Jessica (Rousseau) Mattas; her great grandchild Henry Rousseau; her surviving siblings Gaston Cossette, and Denise Cossette Vielleux, sister-in-law Priscille Cossette; her brother-in-law Reverand Robert Rousseau, and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held oat the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home in Naugatuck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck. 

Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
