Joey Mark Trotz

     Joey Trotz - Born September 25th, 1975. Died September 17th, 2024.

     Joey spent eight years as a Scout in the Army fresh from high school. After leaving the Army, he received two Bachelor Degrees in History and Social Sciences, which he used to teach middle school in both Colorado and Bahrain.

     He was an avid snowboarder for over 20 yrs and also enjoyed disc golf, hiking, camping, and road trips.

     He spent the last five years shining his rare, yet wonderful smile to his partner and wife - Brenda, and loved being a grandfather to his two grandchildren - Lilythine, aka "Grandpa's little monkey" and Kyren aka KyKy, who all loved him and will miss him very much. As did and will his daughter – Areena of Twin Falls; his mother - Linda Hardinger of Filer; his father - David Trotz of California; brothers - Steve (Adrianna) of Indiana, David Jr. (Michelle) of Washington and Rob of Texas; his sister - Heather of California; his in-laws – Helen and Patrick Berry of Montana and Gabriel and Myrna Goitiandia of Nevada; multiple nieces and nephews; a great niece; many cousins; and two best friends – Jay and Shane, who have all survived him in death.

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents, on both sides, as well as all of his aunts. 

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.

     A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
