John Patrick Carter

   John Patrick Carter, 51, of Gooding, passed away surrounded by his family on February 12, 2021.

   John was born March 17, 1969 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was the 4th child born to Mike and Bonnie Carter.

   He enjoyed working his cows, camping, coaching (especially his kids), watching sports and most of all making memories with his family.    

   He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Trisa Carter; his children- Stephanie (Cody) Stutzman, Cody Wade, Nick (Janeil) Wade, John (Karlie) Carter, Jessica (Rigo) Zavala, AshLee, Andrew, Jamie, Remmington and EmmaJo Carter; his siblings- Randall Lange, Mike Carter, Mitch Carter, Kurt Carter, Rebecca Erickson, Ryan Carter, Jane Carter, Fred Carter, Erick Carter, and Amber Rice.

   He is preceded in death by his parents- Mike and Bonnie Carter; a sister- Kristina; two brothers-Kris and Montie; two nieces- Sierra and Victoria; a son- Sean Carter; and a granddaughter- Carol Ann Wade.

   There will be a viewing Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Demaray Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Desert Hills Community Church of the Nazarene in Gooding.  Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery. 

   Funeral arrangements are pending under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel.
