John Coy Jones

     John Coy Jones II, 45, a resident of Gooding, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024 at his home in Gooding.

     He was born on December 30, 1978 in Burley, the son of Coy and Linda Jones.

     John raised and received his education in Sandy, Utah.  John enjoyed the outdoors and loved riding bikes and was sponsored to preform trick riding.  He was an avid snowboarder and recently had taken up scuba diving.

     John has two children, a son – Canyon Coy Jones and his daughter – Sage River Rae Jones.

     In addition to his children, he is survived by: his parents - John Coy and Linda Lee Jones; three brothers – Shirrl Jones of Gooding, Robert Jones of American Fork, Utah and Allan (Laura) Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada; three sisters – Shalyn (Allen) Halling of Gooding, Sheena Jones of Pocatello and Karlee Jones of Gooding.

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents – John Thomas and Nadine Jones and Nolan “Bud” and Barbara Prock.

     John will be missed by all those who knew him.  He loved his children and family, especially his little sister – Karlee.

     No funeral services are scheduled at this time.  A celebration of life will be held in June 2025, date and time to be announced on a later date.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
