Jorge Luis Campos, 48, of Kuna, and formerly of Bliss, passed away unexpectantly on Sunday, February 9, 2025 in Idaho Falls.

     Jorge was born in Mexico, or as he would call it “The Motherland” on October 18, 1976.  He was the first of five children born to Jorge and Lupe Campos. Jorge was brought to the little town of Bliss, Idaho when he was nine months old.  He attended and graduated from Bliss High School in 1995.

     Jorge had many talents, he was an expert fixer-upper, a landscaping guru and talented inventor – which led him to the best job of his life at JUMP in Boise.  Jorge was so lucky to be able to put all these talents to work at JUMP, he loved JUMP.

     Jorge was an outdoor guy; he was one with nature.  He loved traveling, hiking, camping, sledding, swimming and seeking any new adventure.

     Jorge’s memory will forever live on, in the stories that will be shared by his friends, his siblings, his nieces and nephew, stepchildren, fiancee and his mother and father.

     He is survived by: his parents – Jorge and Guadalupe Campos; his fiancée – Leslie Medicine Elk; one brother – Roberto Campos; two sisters – Magda Campos and Alejandra Franco; step-son – Dakota and step-daughter – Sierra; six nieces and nephews – Lizeth, Isabella, Ariana, Ava, Giovanni and Aron; and his beloved dogs – Miss Muffet and Frankie, but will be reunited with Smoki.

     He was preceded in death by his brother – David Eduardo Campos.

     A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Bliss High School Gym with Father Carlos Rosero officiating.

     Burial will follow in the Upper Clover Creek Cemetery north of Bliss.

     After the graveside the family invites everyone to the Campos residence for a family gathering.

     Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
