Katherine Ann Gagne

     On May 2, 2025, Kathrine Ann Gagné ended her journey on earth at age 71.

     Katherine was the oldest of four children born to Wilfred (Ted) Gagné and Mary-Ann Gagné Sears on October 28, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan.

     At a very young age, Katherine displayed a strong will and became fiercely independent from which she never wavered, even up to the end. Katherine was well educated and worked several government jobs. She was well versed in many subjects and liked a challenging conversation. Katherine lived her life to the beat of her own drum, and was a staunch advocate for the environment and the disabled.

     Her cats were her companions which she adored immensely. She loved the color purple, admired horses running free, had a beautiful singing voice, and found peace and tranquility at the ocean. She was very proud of her Swedish heritage and was a member of Svea Lodge.

     Katherine is survived by her mother, Mary-Ann Sears; sisters – Laura Rogers and Chris (Bill) Perry; brother – Ted Gagné, nephews – Sean (Kristen) Rogers, Kyle Rogers; nieces- Jenna (Josh) McIntyre, Fiona Gallagher; great niece - Brinly McIntyre and several cousins and a few close friends.

     She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, cousin- James Fink; several aunts, and uncles; brother-in-law - Joseph Rogers and great nephew - Chisum McIntyre.

     Kath, may Mother Earth receive your free spirit into her loving embrace and may your love live on forever in the hearts of many.

     A family burial will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding.

     Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
