Kathryn "Katie" (Root) Wright-Robinson

     Alice Kathryn Root Wright Robinson, 94, a resident of Gooding, and formerly of Hoquiam, Washington, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024 at Grace Assisted Living in Twin Falls, Idaho.

     Katie was born on November 23, 1930 in Hoquiam, Washington, the daughter of Herbert Gill Root and Cecelia Huntington Root.

     She is survived by: her brother – Donald (Karin) Root and family of Washington; her children – Karolyn (Robert) Gaines and family of Gooding, Idaho; Edward (Pam) Wright and family of Washington; James F. (Tammy) Wright and family of Oregon; Joye (Gregg) Graves of Arizona; Susan (Steven) Jeffrey of Utah; and Steven (Carol) Dobes of Washington.

     A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 10:30 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gooding.

     A private family graveside will be in the Spring of 2025 at the Sunset Cemetery in Hoquiam, Washington.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
