Ken Helderman, Sr.

Kenneth Lee Helderman passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020, due to health-related issues.

Ken was born on February 21, 1939, to Cecil M. and Fronha E. Helderman in Richfield, Idaho, on the farm that he grew up on.

Ken owned a store in Arco, Idaho, for many years and then moved to Boise when he sold the store. After moving to Boise, Ken worked for the City of Boise as an operator for several years until retiring.

He is survived by his two children, Ken (Loah) Helderman of Boise, ID, and Jackie (Robert) Eppers of Las Vegas, NV; sister Madge (Swanee) Swanberg of Caldwell, ID; brother Norman (Julia) Helderman of Idaho Falls, ID; and several grandchildren.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers (Edsel W., Harvey W., and Cecil Bud) and one sister (Phyllis J).

A graveside service will be held at the Richfield Cemetery on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 1:00 PM.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service - Shoshone Chapel.
