Kenneth "Kenny" LeRoy Sams

     Kenneth "Kenny" LeRoy Sams, 80, a resident of Richfield, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 at his home.

     Kenny was born September 11, 1944 to Roy and Grace Sams in Marshall, North Carolina.

     He was raised and educated in Jerome.

     In March 1965 he married Milly Reinsch in Jerome.

     In his life, Kenny had many achievements such as working at Wards Cheese for seven years.      

     He educated himself to becoming a Union Ironworker with Local 732 Pocatello. Some of the major projects he worked on were: Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, Tupperware Plant in Jerome, Simplot Plant in Pocatello, and INEL in Arco for his 28-year career, just to name a few.

     He is survived by his wife – Milly; two daughters - Kaysi (Rod) Hubsmith and Tina Sams; his five grandchildren Sarah, Morgan, Anthony, Cassandra, Rich; as well as his ten great grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by: his son – John; all five of his brothers and his sister.

     A private celebration of life for Kenny for family and close friends will be held at a later time

     Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Demaray Funeral Service - Shoshone Chapel.
