Obituary

Lyle Wayne Cornelison, 81, a resident of Nyssa, Oregon and formerly of Hagerman, Idaho passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Lyle was born on July 31, 1941 in Winterset, Iowa, the son of Wayne and Opal Cornelison.  He was one of three children – including a brother – Ronald and a sister – Kimberly.

Lyle married Myrna Laura Busick.  He worked for U.P.S. for many years.

They had three children ~ Lisa Shaeffer who lives in Nyssa, Oregon, Mark Cornelison of Twin Falls and Douglas Cornelison who preceded him in death.  He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Lyle was preceded in death by: his brother – Ronald (wife - Ruby) Cornelison and his sister – Kimberly Kelly; and two grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Hagerman Cemetery.
