Mariza Sanchez Galvan

     Mariza Sanchez was born in Gervacio, Guanajuato, Mexico on April 12, 1978. She died September 27, 2021 in Twin Falls, Idaho after complications from COVID 19.

     Mariza was born to Micaela Ramirez and Gabriel Galvan, the 6th in a family of 9 children. She was their miracle baby, from birth expected to be deceased from a rare disease (Niemann Pick — which she later proclaimed to be cured of) at a young age, but God gave her life for 43 years.

     She married Ismael Sanchez in 1999, they raised 4 children in Gooding and Bellevue. Mariza’s love for children went beyond her own. She showed this love to her 28 nieces and nephews and worked as a teacher assistant at Alturas Elementary. She was a faithful disciple of her Lord and Savior Jesus. A prayer warrior who at any moment would gladly use her direct line to God for you. All those that knew Mariza knew how passionate she was to share the love of God.

     Mariza enjoyed gardening, going on walks with her family, having conversations with her children, taking naps, and praising God with her home church Centro de Oracion y Alabanza in Twin Falls where she fell in love with God for the first time in 2003.

     Mariza (Mari) is survived by her husband of 22 years, Ismael (Isma) whom she loved deeply; her four cherished children: Cruz, Sarai, Ana and Enok; 8 siblings: Mario (Cacho), Manuel (Mane), Maria Dolores (Lola), Marcela (Mache), Maria de la Luz (Bush), Marina (Minoz), Marco(Che), Monica (Moni).

     There will be a service to celebrate her life on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Demaray Funeral Service - Gooding Chapel, 737 Main St, Gooding, ID 83330.
