Mark Ray Carter, 62, a resident of Wendell, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Twin Falls.
Mark was born on March 16, 1957 in Jerome, Idaho, the 6th of 9 children born to Ivo Glen Carter and Margie (Hawks) Carter.
He lived his entire life in Wendell where he attended school. While in school he enjoyed playing football. Mark worked in the farming industry for years, and then found snowboarding and loved being at and working at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort in Fairfield, Idaho.
Mark has left behind his wife – Cindy; daughter - Samantha R. Bishop (James Klein) and grandson, Weston R. Klein of Afton, Wy., son - Curtis M. Bishop of Boise; stepson - Daniel Cottom of Jerome; his siblings - Mike (Ada) of Jerome, Tim (Glenda) of Shoshone, Gary of Wendell, Susan Bogert of Pocatello, Chuck (Teresa) of Burley, Paul (Corky) and Dennis (Crystal) all of Wendell.
Mark was preceded in death by: his parents; an older brother; and daughter-in-law - Jackee A. Bishop.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 10:30 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saint in Wendell, Idaho.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
