Martin "Marty" Lloyd Obituary

Martin Greer Lloyd, 63, a resident of Wendell, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021.

Martin was born to Carl and Janice Lloyd on November 25, 1957, on his “Granny’s” birthday in Big Spring, Texas.  In his early years he lived in Texas, Colorado and New Mexico. Martin moved to Wendell in 1970 with his family and resided in the area ever since.

Most of his life he worked alongside his family ranching, farming and in their custom hay business, as well as his own ventures and adventures.  There is so much more, but those who know him know his story.

He is survived by his mother- Janice Houston Lloyd; six siblings- Betsy Knutson of Twin Falls, ID; Dan Lloyd of Stanton, TX; Angie and Paul Crawford of Stanton, TX; Mike Lloyd of Wendell, ID; Becca and Don Braun of Gooding, ID; George Lloyd of Buhl, ID; and his eight nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father- Carl Lloyd.

Due to the COVID-19 environment, a family funeral mass will be celebrated for Marty.  His family regrets not being able to include the many good friends of Martin who loved him dearly.

Martin loved people, loved to help, and especially loved children.  Please celebrate Martin’s life by making memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or by helping a friend as he would.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service - Wendell Chapel.
