Obituary

     Maxine Joyce Brauburger, 85, a resident of Richfield, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at The Cove of Cascadia in Bellevue.

     Maxine Joyce Hendrix was born on July 12, 1937 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Arthur Leonard Hendrix and Dorothy Baker Hendrix.  She was raised and educated in the Western States.

     Maxine married Cleo Leonard Brauburger on July 11, 1954 in Buhl, Idaho.

     She is survived by: three sons – Harvey (Connie) Brauburger, Brian Brauburger and Corey Brauburger, all of Richfield; two daughters – Brenda (Doyle) Haney of Phoenix, Arizona and Debbie (Bernabe) Marquez of Richfield; one sister – Dora Beadz of Twin Falls; her grandchildren – Jason Brauburger, Josey Brauburger, Jennifer Long, Jandi Platz, Jacob Brauburger, Hiliary Whipple, Christopher Brauburger, Vince Edlund, Josh Haney, Diana Haney, Berny Marquez and Victor Marquez; her great grandchildren – Eli, Abigail, Remington, Madalyn, Gavin, Liam, Jase, Josslyn, Jakklyn, Emelia, Esmay, Quill, Silas, Whitney, Lance, Logan, Simon, Statten, Weslyn, Mathew, Jessie, Colton and Layla.

     She was preceded in death by: her parents – Arthur and Dorothy Hendrix; her husband – Cleo Brauburger; sisters – Louise Harmison, Rosa Mae Riley, Deloris Brauburger, Pearl King, Phillis Bower and Peggy Mercer; her brother – Harvey Hendrix; and great grandson – Alder Brauburger.

     The family would like to recognize and thank Dr. Woods of the Family Practice Facility located in Hailey; Dr. Hymas and nurse – Allison of St. Luke’s Cancer Institute located in Twin Falls; and the staff at The Cove of Cascadia located in Bellevue.    Each family member would like to express our sincere gratitude for you compassion and care shown to our mother over the years, but especially navigating us through the last few months when her health failed her.  You all provided her with much comfort, and outstanding health care.  Thank you all so much.

     A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Richfield L.D.S. Church, with a viewing to be held from 10:00 am until service time.

     Burial will follow at the Richfield Cemetery.

     Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service - Shoshone Chapel.
