Michael W. Thompson

               Michael W. Thompson, 71, of Bliss, died Friday, April 12, 2024, at Saint Lukes Regional Hospital, Twin Falls Idaho.

            Mike was born in Pittsburg, California in 1952. He was educated and graduated from Antioch High School, Antioch, California in 1970.  He and his parents moved to Bliss in February of 1974. He married Charleen “Charlie” Wilkins on July 23, 1974 at the First Christian Church, Gooding, Idaho.

            Mike was an amazing, devoted and loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle to 27 nieces and nephews. He loved hunting and fishing, being out on the desert. Camping with the nieces, nephews, family and friends was an event he always looked forward to.

            His proudest accomplishment was building our dream log home – a place he called his piece of Heaven in Bliss.

A celebration was being planned for their 50th anniversary in July, now we will be celebrating Mike’s life with a gathering at that time, under the loving direction of “the nephews”.

            He is survived by his wife – Charleen and his brother Dan. Preceding in death are his parents Arthur and Maxine Thompson and sister Kathy Fehsel.
