Nancy Lee Bowman, 79, of Dietrich, Idaho passed suddenly and peacefully to join her Heavenly Father and beloved husband Wallace Neal Bowman on Saturday, December 19th. Nancy was born to Kenneth Richard and Hazel Loraine Malstrom on May 10th, 1941 in Caldwell, Idaho. She spent her early years living in Idaho and California. Her family eventually settled in New Meadows, Idaho where they ranched and farmed. She developed a love of horses, sports, and the outdoors at an early age and organized the Meadows Valley Riding Club in 1957. She was active in Rodeo and served as the Riggins Rodeo Princess and Queen of the Adams County Fair and Rodeo in 1959. Nancy received an athletic scholarship from New Meadows High School in 1960 and after graduation, she attended Boise Junior College. She was called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in London, England in 1963 and served faithfully. After her mission, she attended Ricks College where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.

Nancy met her future husband, Neal, in New Meadows, Idaho where he was working as a Math Teacher. They fell in love and were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on November 23rd, 1966. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Juneau, Alaska. While in Alaska, Neal and Nancy were blessed with three children, Leciel, Kim and Walter. They later moved to Dietrich, Idaho where they ran a family farm. Nancy was a faithful church member serving in many callings throughout the years. She was a great example of service to others. She was a dedicated mother to her children and grandmother to her grandchildren. Both Neal and Nancy enjoyed spending time teaching and loving their grandchildren. They spent countless hours with their grandchildren driving the scout, running the backhoe, welding, riding horses, painting scenic pictures, playing chess, reading books, and working on various projects.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Neal Bowman of Dietrich, Idaho on December 8th, 2020 and her mother and father, Kenneth and Hazel Loraine Malstrom of Council, Idaho. She is survived by her three children, Leciel (John) Bono of Aberdeen, Idaho, Kim (Bowman) Page of Dietrich, Idaho, and Walter Bowman of Dietrich, Idaho; sister, Linda Green and brother, Craig Malstrom. Surviving grandchildren are Zane Bono, Jaron Bono, Kaiana Bono, Lon Page Jr. and Celeste Page.
