Nancy Connell Obituary
Nancy Rose Connell, 81, born February 20, 1942 in Boise, Idaho to Donald Lee and Dora M. Reynolds.
She went home to be with the Lord Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023 with family by her side at the Lincoln County Care Center after another valiant fight with cancer.
Nancy grew up in Bellevue, Idaho attending school there and later moved and attended school in the Seattle, WA area. She married Gordon Sanford Connell on December 15, 1957. They had (3) children. Jeffrey, Christopher and Sheryl.
They farmed North of Shoshone most of their married life until Gordon’s death in 2004.
Nancy then enjoyed driving school bus and working for the Shoshone School Dist. for over 10 years. She was a member of the Oasis Christian Fellowship.
She Dearly loved her family and friends and a BIG smile was her greeting no matter how good or bad the day, even up to the last few days of her life. She handled what she faced with Strength and Grace.
Survived by Sons: Jeff (Janet) Connell, Chris (Kim) Connell, Daughter Sheryl Mason-Parsons (Donnie Parsons). Brothers, Ronald (Vera) Reynolds and Thomas (Brenda) Reynolds. Grandchildren, Jeremy (Whitney) Connell, Jessica (Daniel) Cornell, Nikki (Kendrick) King-Gunning, Chance (Krystal) Connell, Donald & Zach Mason, (12) Great-Grandchildren and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, & Nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by-her Beloved husband, Gordon, infant sons, Danny & Rusty, her parents Don & Dora Reynolds, Sister- Donna Melvin, Son-n-Law- Samuel Mason, and nephews Ricky, Anthony and Donny Reynolds.
Her life will be celebrated on January 20, 2024 @ 2:00 p.m. at the Oasis Christian Fellowship. 315 E 6th St, Shoshone, Idaho.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Shoshone Chapel.
