Norma Louyne Jones, 95, a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her home in Phoenix.
Norma Louyne Jones was born on May 19, 1926 in Gooding, Idaho, the daughter of Arliss and Ethel Porter. She was raised and educated in Gooding.
Norma married Stevan Allan Jones on June 14, 1944 in Twin Falls. He preceded her in death in 1997.
She is survived by: two daughters – Linda (Jones) Bright of Eugene, Oregon and Marjory Jones of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren – Sherry (Bright) Jones, Angie (Bright) Mathisen, Randy Bright and Shawna (Mannheimer) Meloy; eight great grandchildren – Sidney Hochgraber, Damion Meloy, Logan Meloy, Aidan Hochgraber, Hunter Bright, Emma Mathisen, Lincoln Mathisen and Harrison Bright.
She was preceded in death by her husband – Stevan Jones; sisters – Elinor Alexander and Audra Mercer; and her grandson – Stevan Mannheimer.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 7th Ward/Stake Center at 790 South Haskett St. in Mountain Home.
A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 am until service time at the Church.
Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.
