Richard (Rick) Farmer, age 57, passed from this earth on Christmas Eve Day. He was born in McCall and was blessed to have been a life long resident of Idaho. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed until the day we join him in Heaven.
He loved to fish, play cards and was an excellent cook. His craft was welding at which he was very talented. He also loved woodworking and gardening. He had a giving heart. He was strong as a bull, yet gentle enough to care for the smallest houseplant. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he often had friends and family laughing from his wonderful jokes. His “Jonesy” story will live on forever in our memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents - Richard and Mildred Farmer; two brothers and all grandparents, aunts, uncles and his beloved, furry friend, Awesome.
He is survived by brother - David Waitman; four sisters - Nola (Gary) Newton, Linda Simmons, Nina Adamson and Mona (Bob) Wilmot. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, 11:00 am, at the Elks Lodge, 325 South 3rd West St., Mountain Home, Idaho.
